Definitely it is important.First,by studying history,we can know the solutions to similar cases.For example,if a similar scenario occurs in the history,we can then know how people have solved this problem in the past.We may then adopt the same method or at least,we can gain inspiration from it.Law and medical study especially emphasize on case studies due to this reason.Secondly,we can learn lessons from the past mistakes and think about how to improve them.With more advanced technology,we can avoid similar mistakes and instead,have them remedied if they happen again.
