A small raincloud has saved the lives of three sailors on a sinking boat.Water began to pour into their boat about 300 kilometres from the coast of Portugal, and the frantic sailors called for help on their radio.
The waves were almost 20 metres high and the wind blew the tiny boat from side to side.Soon even the radar broke down.
Then suddenly they heard the calm voice of a French sea captain over the radio.“Is it raining?” he asked. They thought it was rather a strange question but they answered.“It’s raining very heavily,” they called back over he radio.
“I’ve seen a raincloud on my radar screen,” the French captain said.‘If you are under it,I can easily find you.’
He changed course immediately and went sailing to the small boat.
