Today is World Water Day.I participated in a series of activities called water-saving on World Water Day which was quite meaningful.We held a class meeting from 10 o’clock.After a heated discussion,we were about to prepare the activities in the afternoon which we agreed with.
At 2:00 pm,we went to the community.By distributing the leaflets,we wanted everyone in the community to know the importance of water conservation.After an hour ,the old expert we invited gave a speech on the water crisis in China and emphasized that we need to popularize the present world water situation which made most people around the world feel pessimistic .
After the speech,we had a discussion with our neighbors about practical ways to save water in our daily life.I suggested we should turn off the tap after using and a girl showed her idea that reusing the water was equally vital.
It was realy an unforgettable experience because I did my best to publicize the significance (前面用了importance了）of saving the water,I will bear today’s memory all the time.
