Although the translantion "君子之交,淡如水 is very interesting,it is NOT the original meaning.The real meaning is (我们/你)应该像水一样,能屈能伸.
This is a very famous line Bruce Lee (功夫之王”李小龙) used in a TV interview to explain his philosophy on kungfu and life:
"Empty your mind.Be formless.Shapeless,like water.If you put water into a cup,it becomes the cup.Now,water can flow,or it can crash.Be water my friend."
