Methods ：according to some examples of common clinical surgery of malignant tumor , analysis combined with the encoding principle of ICD-9-CM-3 .
results ：work out the classification principle of the operation and detailed coding.
Conclusion ：when facing the relevant coding about radical surgery , through reading operation records,making clear the operation methods,and making sure the leading word , coding according to the principle .
