another: 1. 作形容词，表示又一个(one more)。例，have another apple.
2.作名词，表示又一个（东西），与之前相同或不同。例：This bag is too big, I want another.
other: 形容词，表示剩下的多个，其他的。例：China has larger populartion than any other counteries in the world.
The other. 一般和one 连用，构成one。。。the other 的句型, 表示除了第一个以外其他的。One student walked there, the other (students) went by bus.
另外有固定用法on one side, on the other side, 一方面，另一方面。。。。
The others。相当于一个名词，后面不能加名词。相当于the other + (students, teachers, countries....)
