Make use of existing information.Follow this 3-step process:1) Choose an area related to your job that you think would benefit from innovation,such as a time-consuming process that may be a bottleneck.2) Obtain as much information you can about the situation from all available resources (this can include interviews with experienced individuals from inside or outside the company,attendance at trade shows or conventions,conducting current literature research,etc.).
