Historical monuments and places should be preserved
I disagree with the idea that all old buildings should be pulled down and made into new ones.Here are the reasons:
First of all,historical monuments were built in rememberance of historical events and figures that had far－reaching impact over people's lives.We should never forget those who made great contributions to mankind.
Besides,historical place is a nice choice for people who want to travel.Ancient architecture looks quite different from modern style and can make people feel mysterious and attracted by the culture.
Last but not least,it takes a lot of money to build newer buildings to replace old ones.The cost is too much.
Therefore I disagree with the idea that people should demolish historical monuments and places.
