many:很多的意思,后面要接可数名词,many persons,eg：there are many persons in the park.(公园里很多人) much:也是很多的意思,但是跟many 不同的是,后面一定要接不可数名词,much water,eg:this tree needs much water,or it will die.（这棵树需要很多水,否则就死了） few:它跟many是一国的,都是接可数名词,但是它的意思是,很少的意思.few bananas,eg:there are few bananas left in the box.(盒子里面没剩下几根香蕉了) little:意思跟few一样,它们的区别和many和much一样,little是接不可数名词的,little time,eg：I have little time to get there.(我到那里的时间没多少了,不怎么够了) small:形容词,小的,接名词或者直接单独用,small house,eg：that is a small house.那是个小房子 that house is small.那个房子很小 big:跟small相反的意思,打的,用法一样.he is a big guy 他长得很壮.large:跟big意思相同,但是“大”的程度不同,它是比big还要大的程度.large building eg:he lives in a large building他住在一个超大的楼里面.另外呢,比large还要大的一个词呢,是huge,这个词的意思是巨大的.譬如看到飞机,你就可以说,oh god,it's huge.我靠,好大啊～
