Today I heard a story on the radio which is about two friends. I was deeply moved by it.
Two friends were walking along the seaside. due to some unknown reasons, they began to argue. Their points were so different that the argument became serious and one of them suddenly slapped the other one in the face. They both calmed down immediately. Without saying anything, the one which got slapped bent down to write" today my best friend slapped me in the face." They kept walking silently until they went into a forest. Unexpectedly, the one which had been slapped was trapped in the mire and started drowning. His friend saved him without any hesitation. After going ashore ,the one who was rescued carved on a stone" Today my best friend saved my life." Getting strange again, his friend couldn't help asking him why he left those sentences all the way. He replied" when someone hurts us we should write
it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase the statement away. But when someone does good for us, we must carve it in stone where no wind can ever erase the statement."
问题补充:The story causes me to think deeply about the true meaning of friendship. We should learn to remember. Remember those who have ever helped us gave us anything or cared us. Though an encouraging eye contact or a praising word should be engraved in our mind. However, one should also learn to forget. Forget the hurt you've got and the people who havs brought it to you. Forget unhappiness and sorrows even if they caused irrecoverable losses or made you feel despaired. We all should learn to have gratitude, as the man did in the story, wrote his hurts in the sand and carved his benefits in the stone. For others who give us so much on our way to let us grow up. Only take a thankful heart and a positive attitude can we realize the colorful world
