Do you know that a terrible earthquake took place in Wenchuan,Sichuan province,on 12th May?The victims lost their houses and shelters in the disaster.What’s more,it was in summer when the earthquake took place,and the local people wore very thin clothes at that season.Now half year has passed and here comes the winter.Winters in Sichuan are usually very cold,for Sichuan locates in high mountain areas.Therefore,the Wenchuan earthquake has made this winter extremely difficult for the victims.So I am making a plan to help them.I am raising money to buy 200 pieces of cotton-padded clothing and some other necessities for the earthquake victims.Actually,I write this letter to ask you to join me.One more help would release the victims a little bit more.If you can join the charity,I will be greatly appreciate for our help.If you have something for further discussion,please call me at the number 555-5555.
