My book report can be divided into three parts. Firstly, I will talk something about the relationship between Tom and his mother. At the beginning of the story, Tom was at a loss after the death of his father. He felt his mother was a stranger to him and so did his mother. Obviously, they were not in good terms. But gradually, Tom found that his mother loved him. So he wanted to start his new life again with his mother. When his mother hurt his hand, Tom was very worried. The proverb “blood is thicker than water” founf expression here. I think this is the gist of the book. Then ,I would like to talk about Tom’s dream. When he saw the homeless geese, he thought that the duck’s situation was just like him, so he brought the duck home. Enjoying a happy family is Tom’s dream. He is a tough boy. Through his efforts, the relationship between Tom and his family is comfortable. So his dream came true. We can learn from Tom. He told me ‘If you don’t give up , your dream will come true.’ I think this is positive information of the book. The last point , I would like to talk about Tom taught the duck how to fly. I think it was interesting about the book. And they told me ‘Never say never’. I think it can make my book report more attractive. Therefore, my book report would like to do about these three points.
