Educational practice in the network,as the image information with visual images,such as easily understood and informative features,and therefore the practice of distance education has been the most widely used and undoubtedly plays a decisive role.Although the image information has a lot of advantages,but there are also potential problems that can not be evaded,one of the main problems is that too large amount of data.Large amount of data will give the image information storage memory,communications bandwidth channel trunk,as well as greatly increase computer processing speed of the pressure on the practice of distance education is also of great impact will be caused by communication congestion,network delay,images are not synchronized voice problems.Therefore,the need to maintain the original image information contained in the basis of the nature of communications and the need to store compressed data.The use of image compression,image can reduce the burden of storage and transmission,so that the image on the network for rapid transmission and real-time processing.
Of the image compression coding a lot of international standards,based on the discrete wavelet transform-based multi-resolution JPEG2000 encoding is the static image compression ratio of the highest image quality,but there are also deficiencies,mainly in a long time codec ,Reconstruction of the image edge burr,such as non-smooth.JPEG2000 compression algorithm in this article to a preliminary study carried out and try to improve it.
