Hey,that is a good question!We need to know the difference beteween a counter offer and merely an inquiry.If Blue sent Silk a telegram that included the following statement:"The price for your building seems too high.Would you consider taking $75,000?" (as in the question) It is not a counter offer,just merely an inquiry.Blue just asked Silk whether he was willing to reduce the price to $75,000.However,if Blue sent Silk a telegram that included the following statement:"I will accept the offer if the selling price is $75,000." That is not an inquiry,but a statement.Thus making a counter offer.The original offeree Blue becomes the offeror.The original offeror Silk becomes the offeree.
