In comparison to the western arts,Chinese paintings include many unique factors,such as
1.First on the material that we use,the custom-made writing bruch,ink or paint,on Xuan paper,this is why it's so called [water painting] or [color ink painting].
2.It's different on constructing as well.Far prespective is often used,which makes the eyesight/view quite lively and fre,almost like the image is about to break through.
3.Chinese paintings and poems,calligraphy,many combined together,mutually shining,which construct the unique beauty of Chinese paintings.
4.Technically,Chinese paintings were first inspired by the long,tradional culture of China,as well as the copious esthetic thoughts.The Western concepts of beauty,emphasis on the level of realistic of the target of the painting and enviroment.To reach the realness of the art,lighting,prespect,color are very precise.Using optics,geometry,anatomy,chromatology as scientic proof.Briefly,if Chinese painting holds on to the meaning,then Western holds on to the construction; Chinese paintings focuses more on emotions,while Western arts focus on reasoning; Chinese paintings are not limited by space and time,on the contrary,Western arts are very precised on following the limited time and space.However,these two types of Art form a very obvious contrast,but both belong to the visual/graphic arts catogory.
