Mei Dingzuo (The Ming Dynasty)
Half a circle of mist caresses the waterside emerald green willows,
Half a puff of breeze interweaving with rains invigorates the flowers.
Several fisherboats plow against the waves,half floating and half sinking,
Some folk houses dot both banks,half hiding and half appearing.

Flowers fall in gentle breeze and fine rain,
Fisherboats float up and down on the river ,
Only faint shadows of the huts could be seen .
