应该省略后面两个the,这样but also后面的三个名词共用一个the,变成the ( A+B+C),此结构可以合并,看作the+名词,那么就和not only后面的the+名词(pumpkin)非常一致啦!
我再给你举个例子：
I am more interested in Maths than in either English or Chemistry的表达要比I am more interested in Maths than either in English or in Chemistry好,为什么呢?因为要把either English or Chemistry看作整体和in 连用,这样才能和比较结构前面的in Maths完美一致哦!
