My classroom is on the third floor of the teaching building. It is class 5, grade 1. Our head teacher teaches us math, which is a very difficult subject and only a few of us can follow what he has been teaching us. He is short and serious. He has moved his family to the town from the countryside. We are kind of afraid of him when he scolds us of being lazy and boisterous. My classmates do not try very hard on their studies. There are only a few of my classmates study very earnestly. Most of my classmates are from the countryside. Their parents have to work hard in the farms to support the family. Though not all of my classmates are good at studying textbooks, some of them are quite talented on other aspects. Some can write very graceful words, and others are good at sports. As for me, I am a nerd, which means I focus on books most of the time, if not all the time. My favorite subjects are Chinese and English. And our teachers have noticed me for my performance of the two subjects on those tests and exams. I am content to be myself in this classroom.
