Foam enriched atomic absorption spectrometry determination of gold in gold ore
Abstract: The sample after calcination, with aqua regia (50%) was dissolved by heating on a hot plate, the volume fraction of the aqueous solution φ (aqua regia) is 10 to 15%, and a samll amount of ferric chloride solution as medium, and using enriched polyurethane foam to absorb gold, then thiourea - hydrochloric acid (10g / L) was to dissolve, according to its content, the resulting solution was determined by the flame atomic absorption spectroscopy. To optimize sample handling, foam enrichment, desorption conditions, the flame atomic absorption spectrometry measurement would gain the best results. Flame atomic absorption spectrometry measurements of gold detection limit of 0.574ug/mL, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 6.5%, the method is applied to detect the actual samples with satisfactory results.
