could和would有什么不一样?

could是can的过去式,而wolud是will的过去式
共同点：1、当用在宾语从句中,两者皆为一种降级（主句为过去时）
2、在表示询问时,两者都是表示一种婉转的语气,基本没有意思上的区别
eg:Would/Could you tell me the way to the nearest post office?
不同点：could是表示个人能力所限,而would表示内心的意愿
