They went to the cinema by bus and then stayed there for 2 hours with other friends .——句中就有两个（甚至还可能有更多的）谓语动词.这还祘是简单的,因为这只是有并列谓语动词的简单句.至于复杂的句子——并列句、复合句等,一个大句子中包含多个句子——有主句和几个从句,那就会出现多个谓语动词.不要急,慢慢学吧.
