因为side前面有不定代词both修饰.
代词和不定代词用作定语修饰名词时,在被他们所修饰的名词前都不用定冠词the.
如：his/her/our/their/my/your teacher.我们就不能说his/her/our/their/my/your 【the】 teacher.你说是吗?
又如：each/every/another/one student,我们就不能说：each/every/another/one 【the】 student.你说是吗?
