After the Sunday dinner,I went to a movie with my classmate.On the way we met a foreign girl who looked very worried.After talking with her in English,we knew that she was a traveler and lived in the Peace Hotel.She told us that she got lost,and we sent her to the hotel.On the way to the hotel,we introduced to her in English a lot about our city's changes.She said that she liked this city very much.And she also told us something about her family and the life in the United States.
Although we missed the movie,both my classmate and I were very happy.We felt that English was very useful to promote the mutual understanding and friendship of the people all over the world.
