Roger Federer was born on Aug 8th 1981 in Basel, Switzerland and started playing tennis at the age of eight.
Roger was No.1 in the juniors when he was only 17 years old. Of course, he is talented, but I think there is surely something we cannot see that led Roger.
He is Swiss professional tennis player who held the ATP No.1 position for a record 237 consecutive weeks. This is an amazing record. Federer has owned a men's 16 Grand Slam singles titles. He is one of seven male players to capture the career Grand Slam ---- one of three to do so on three different surfaces. He is the only male player in tennis history who have reach the title match of each Grand Slam tournament at least five times.
As of 16 January 2012, he is ranked world No.3 by the ATP.
Although the times of federer have gone, I will be frustrated when I see his looses, he is still the greatest tennis player in history!
