这是《大学英语》第三册的一篇课文Clearing in the Sky,很多人把它译成“万里睛空”,其实他们误把clearing当作形容词,可他们却忘了形容词后面不能加ing,clear这里是动词+ing成动名词,作“清除”讲,故应译为“山上开荒”或是“高山上的开垦地”.
