这里的need 不能看成是情态动词,因为情态动词need 只用于否定句和疑问句,而这里是肯定句.此时need 是实义动词,所以后面得接to do sth 作宾语了
至于用不用will 提问一事,见下例：
你有必要去那吗?
Need (情态动词） you go there?
Do you need (实义动词） to go there?( 不定式本身表将来,不要 will,用do就可）
