复合句（Complex Sentence）由一个主句（Principal Clause)和一个或一个以上的从句(Subordinate Clause)构成.
复合句可分为：
1).定语从句（The Attributive Clause）；
2).状语从句（The Adverbial Clause）；
3).名词性从句（The Noun Clause）
1.The man was very angry.His face turned white.
可以这样,是原因状语从句：The man was very angry so his face turned white.
2.The thief ran away quickly.He feared to be caught by the policeman.
同上：The thief ran away quickly because he feared to be caught by the policeman.
3.They decided to set out.It was late.
让步状语从句：They decided to set out although it was late.
4.She was going home from school.She suddenly met Tom.
这个最好用While 时间状语从句：While she was going home from school,she suddenly met Tom.
这些都属于状语从句 所以都可以啊
