★1.in one′ s twenties / thirties / forties 等等 表示：在某人/二十多岁时/三十多岁时/……等等

in one′s late twenties / thirties / forties则表示：在某人二十七八岁时/三十七八岁时……等

没有in one′s late forty 的用法 这是固定的

★2.thank to 某人 是固定的

用 for 这个介词时表示 “代替” 虽说可以 但大多数人不那样思考

因为……事感谢某人

例：.I want to say thank you to my father for 1.his help.

2.helping me

这个时候用for 加名词 或ing形式均可
