你可以先读 (Harry Potter) 系列丛书.作者文笔非常好,而故事情节也不会太难懂.现在全书共分为六部,分别是：
1) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone 或 Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
3) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
4) Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
5) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
6) Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
你如果真要读的话应该按顺序读.
（The Secret Garden) 也应该很好,不过我没读过.
(The Count of Monte Cristo) 和 (Uncle Tom's Cabin) 这一类的古典名著小说读起来可能会很难,不过许多英文文学网站上都有它们的英文版,不用你到书店里去买.
