离得近的名词是单数的话就用there is

离得近的名词是复数的话就用there are

e.g.

1.There is an apple and some bananas on the table.（苹果和香蕉用and连接时是并列关系,但是苹果离there be更近,且苹果是单数）

2.There are some bananas and an apple on the table.
