1. yes i do. if you have to talk with someone that you've never met before, say some jokes or add humor to your language will let you and that person feel closer.
2. i think this depends on the situation. if someone is depressed or is embarassed by something that's letting them down, then some encouragement is helping them to get over that bad memory and will let them have the energy to keep on trying. but if a parent always praises his/her child, then that child might be over prouded of themselves and that isn't helping them.
3. every child is born with creativity, but that might be in many areas. parents should listen to their kids and encourage them to develop their interests. through that process, parents can then find out which area their child is creative at, and then train their child. doing activities together and going somewhere for sightseeing is also a good idea.
4. they can be good models if the young people only see their positive side. the effort they put into their training and their hard work can all encourage them and give them a positive influence.
5. basically, it is okay if they relax for a couple of weeks and enjoy a "pressure-free" perioud. but if that continues through the whole year, then they should really think about why they did all the hard work to get into that college. if they can't graduate with a good result, then they've just wasted all their time.
6. sorry i have no idea bout college events.i can translate it 4u if u write sthing 4 me...
7. since college students have more spare time, they can do all sorts of sports activities, eg, tennis, basketball, soccer..etc. sports are good for their bodies and they can learn more about sportsmanship, co-operation and team work.
8. i like Nicole Kidman, she's a great holleywood movie star and she has acted several very well-known movies. i like her face expressions and i feel all the characters that she has acted does suit her well. she also has a nice body shape and great taste. maybe it was a good thing for her to devorce with Tom Cruise, becouse their height doesn't really match.
9. i think the best way to "get anger away" is to take a deep breath, hold it, then let it out slowly. but sometimes that doesn't work when i'm furious, so i choose to scream into a pillow. that won't bother the neighbours, but you do feel you've let go a lot of frustrating things inside you. .if that still doesn't work, then maybe throwing cushions and pillows can do some help.
10. if you want to get into New Zealand, you need to make sure that you didn't bring any living thing, meat, animal stuffing, or dry fruit. if you did, then you need to throw them away in the bin provided before your laugage goes through the x-ray. you will be fined if the machine finds out you have brought illegal items.
