Yes,that is a trouble.Maybe Mei have not confidence for her contest although she has the capability .
However,Everything we can do is to encourage her.of course,iterative practice is necessary.first,she try to give a speech only in front of you.After Mei conformed,increase the number of audience gradually until she can make it.
