我觉得是理解成a comprehensive book of maps后面两个并列的定语从句吧,都是由which引导的,修饰那个map的,不过前面是说比较正面的内容,说那东西有用,后面那句是说不是很好的一面,所以有转折的意味,用but
另外,but有副词的词性的么?好像没怎么见过呢...
