  • I always wanted to see a real rainbow. Because I had seen many pictures, photos of rainbows. But I always wanted to see a real one. But that is not very often. This afternoon, when I was in the study, looking at my book. My Grandpa suddenly shouted, “Hey, Jenny! Come and look, there’s a rainbow in the sky!” “A rainbow? Is I dreaming or what?” I thought. I run to Grandpa’s room as fast as my legs can carry me because I so wanted to see the rainbow. When I got to the window side. I look outside left and right quickly because I was so excited. “Where’s the rainbow?” I asked. “Look, the rainbow is over the Bell Tower Bookshop,” said Grandpa. I look at direction of the Bell Tower Bookshop, and I saw one end of the rainbow. It had seven colors, it's very grand and it takes half of the sky. The real rainbow it's not the same feeling at all as the one people had drawn, and the rainbow's colour is fresh. My heart was thumping slower. Then I look sideways. And I see half of the rainbow. “The rainbow is getting longer and longer!” I cried. Then, I thought. “A full rainbow does look like a giant bridge. But too bad nobody can walk on it. I hope that I can be a bird and fly close to the rainbow.” When I was still imagining. My Grandpa said, “Jenny, why don’t you type the message to the Teacher Monique to let her know, too, so she can share your happiness.” “OK,” I said. But I still wanted to see the rainbow. So I run into the study and typed the message, and Teacher Monique said that she had never seen a rainbow at night, and I reply her and said, "The sun is still in the sky in China." And I continued to see the rainbow. Until it finally disappeared from the sky.
