Much as I respect you,I cannot agree with you.
尽管我很尊重你,我还是不能同意你的说法.
"...much as..." 的用法－
”尽管“ 的意思 － Much as I love you,I will not do your English homework for you.(尽管我很爱你,我还是不会帮你做你的英文功课.哈哈哈）
所以你这句话不可以去掉 ‘as'.去掉了 'as' 就没意思了.
