你的翻译是对的.

This room is twice bigger than that one.这间屋子比那间屋子大两倍

This room is as twice as that one.这间屋子像那件屋子的两倍大.

在用‘than’比较级里,所列的数字是大（多）出的量,翻译时有两种方法（一个是你的译法）：“这间屋子是那间屋子的三倍.”这句翻译方法,要加上原基数‘一’.
