慈母手中线,游子身上衣.
临行密密缝,意恐迟迟归.
谁言寸草心,报得三春晖!

2、吟：吟诵.
3、临：将要.
4、意恐：担心.
5、寸草：小草,比喻子女.
6、寸草心：子女的孝心.
7、三春晖：比喻指慈母之恩.三春：春季的三个月.旧称农历正月为孟春,二月为仲春,三月为季春；晖,阳光；形容母爱如春天和煦的阳光.
8、归：回来,回家.
译文
慈祥的母亲手里拿着针线,
为将远游的孩子赶制新衣.
临行前她忙着把衣服缝得严严实实,
担心孩子一走很晚才会回来.
谁能明白母亲无私的爱,
就像春天的小草不能报答春天给它的光辉!

The thread in the hands of a fond-hearted mother
Makes clothes for the body of her wayward boy;
Carefully she sews and thoroughly she mends,
Dreading the delays that will keep him late from home.
