cost是物做主语,sth cost sb some time/money (in) doing sth
所以我觉得你这两句话都不对

get sb into trouble 使某人陷入困境
get sb in trouble 给某人惹麻烦
是Did you spend him on doing the cleaning?还是Did you cost him
