Success can and does come in many forms,from that of a career that one has chosen,worked hard to attain,and also enjoys,to being the best mom one can possibly be,and neither of these comes with any guarantee whatsoever..I believe that if a person feels and is healthy within their self,does the best they can each day,and knows the wisdom behind the meaning of caring for and helping others,and lives with daily gratitude,then one already is and will continue to be/feel,successful..Success does not and should never be measured in terms of a materialistic price tag that some people today actually do attach to this..Whether one chooses to work at becoming a lawyer,or a doctor,a sales clerk or a waitress,it is not the job but how one feels within while also doing this that makes one feel successful..For myself,as well as for many others,what makes us successful,is getting up each morning and going to bed each night,knowing we chose to face today's reality without ever having to take a drink or a drug to get through it,no matter what happens..To others it is knowing they are daily doing their best at being an honest,giving person..People are successful when they can continue to rise above hardship & adversity,when they heal from traumas,and still continue to give their personal time to help or comfort or support their neighbour,family & their community.
