on 和 about 都是介词,组成介词短语表示“关于.”,on更多用来表示一个有关的主题：比如 a meeting on the investment issue,a TV program on recent Libyan War,a seminar on the international cooperation. 另外on 和 about 在用法上也有一点点区别,about 介词短语除了做定语外,还可以作表语,比如：This book is about the Bermuda Triangle. 而on构成的介词短语不能做表语.不能说 The story is on wildlife in Africa.
