Before remarking on the topic,I would like to make clear the definition of socialization.In my view,socialization is a process of forming one's basic concept on basic value,belief,ethnic and moral standards through social activities.What a child learns through socialization today is doubtless to affect his future,however it overdos to assert that how children are socialized determines the destiny of our society,besides I think it is also an overstatement to claim that we have not yet learned how to raise children though there are still lots of tough issues standing on our way to better raise children.:Z# A' T) }' p+ l4 X' z) U) O,u% X

Children are born just as a blank paper,they gradually foster their personal beliefs,life attitude,ethic and moral standards,and value perspectives through all kinds of social activities and communications,and these fundamentally factors determines the destiny of a person and inevitably affect our future in the long run.A child was taught to be always put the largest number of people' interests over his own is less likely to damage other's interest when heshe tries to seek his own personal good.A child received more encouragement are more likely to have the confidence to overcome the difficulties in his life.What we learned through socialization will be reflected in some way in future.The former United States Secretary of State Rice is a good example here.To be the first black state secretary,Rice owns a lot to her child-formed brave and forthright personality through her child socialization.When she was a child,the black still was not equally treated as the white and they were often bullied by the white.With her mother's encouragement she formed her brave and adamant personality which helps a lot to get her achievements in her later life.; U- E# m7 K5 S/ S:B
