一道难题Four girls went to school every day by taxi 四个女孩每天乘出租车去上学.
One day one of the girls said ,一天一个女孩说“ There’s a test this morning .Let’s get to school late .Then we won’t have to take the test .” 今天早上会有个考试,我们晚一点去学校就不用参加考试了
“ What can we tell the teacher ” one of the girls said .“ He’ll be angry ,We’ll need a good excuse .” 一个说,我们怎么告诉老师呢,他会生气的,我们要找个好借口
The girls thought for several moments ,then one of them said ,“ Let’s tell him that our taxi had a flat tire .” 女孩们想了一会,一个说,就说我们的车胎没气了
“ That’s a good idea ,” the other girls said .“ We’ll tell him that .” They arrived at school an hour later .The test was finished .
“ Why are you late ” the teacher asked .“ You missed the test .” 好主意,就这么说.其他女孩说.她们吃到了一个小时.考试结束了.老师问,你们为什么来晚了,错过了考试.
“ Our taxi had a flat tire ,” one of the girls said .一个回答,我们的出租车车胎有一个没气了.

The four girls did this .
Then the teacher said ,“ Write on a piece of paper the answer to this question :Which tire was flat ”四个女孩这样做了.老师说,在纸上写下这个问题的答案:那个车胎没气了?
