A cleaner at Microsoft
Someone went to Microsoft's office to find a job as a cleaner.A representative of the Human Resource (HR) department asked for his email address in order to send him his letter of acceptance as well as other documents."I have no email address," he replied.Therefore,the representative told him that to Microsoft,a person without an email address is akin to a person who does not even exist in the first place,and so they cannot employ him.
Disappointed,he left the office with only 10USD in his pocket.He bought 10kg of potatoes from the convenience store,and tried to resell it from door to door.2 hours later,the potatoes were all sold out,and he received 100% of profits from the sales.He did the same for a couple more times,and increased his capital to twice his original.He then realised that he could support himself by doing this.
Thus,he began to manage his business seriously.The business grew,he bought a car and even managed to employ more people,establishing a large door-to-door sales company which provided people with the convenience of being able to buy groceries right at their door-steps.To plan for his and his family's future,he decided to take up a insurance policy.Upon signing the contract,the insurance agent was shocked to discover that he had no email address.He exclaimed,"Imagine the things you can do with a computer and an email!" And the man answered,"I would have become a cleaner at Microsoft."
