用法上面 need not 後面直接跟动词,don't need 後面跟名词或者动名词 (to+动词 / 动词ing)
I don't need food/ I don't need to eat =我不需要食物/ 我不需要吃东西
You need not be afraid = 你不用害怕
(need not 在比较正式或者老一点的地方比较常见)
