Does technology make a better world to live in? Some people say yes because they think technology has made modern life convenient and efficient; others, however, say no because they think technology has brought about numerous problems such as pollution, diseases, crimes and other social hidden troubles.
Apparently, both arguments are quite sound; but the point is that technology itself is neither good nor bad. We can’t simply attribute all good or evils to technology, which is only a tool. What really matters is how we shall use it and for what purpose.
So in my view, technology is a sign of social development. Instead of hindering its development, we should utilize it properly and fully so as to make our life much more pleasant.
