How to be a successful English learner and speaker English learning starts with basics . Memorising lots of new words gives us a good beginning .But it makes no sense if we just put words together. Grammar rules helps us learn a foreign language better and good pronunciation benefits stronger foundations. As for pronunciation having a suitable environment is wondrful but if not -,we can refer to tapes ,radios or talk with others while paying attention to and improve our pronunciation. As a student listening to the teacher carefully in class cannot be ignored.A student who is critical of the teacher often results in poor English . As everyone knows ,bad teacher-student relationship must do harm to both. A teacher is also a learner . A good language learner remembers to use the language as much as possible. During the break we try to talk with classmates to strengthen what we have learnt or to arouse our interest. Back home we should listen to tapes to make preparations or revise by listening .Doing many exercises in reading comprehensions and language points is essential . That needs a careful plan ,which is very important unless you don’t want to be an independent English learner. If there is a long holiday , we can watch English films , learn or enjoy English songs and read some magazines to have fun. If we have greater interest ,we can from a group , join a club or translate some beautiful stories ( get it published ). Of cousrse ,making pen-pals or e-pals is another way to motivate ourselves in making rapid progress. When a study period comes to an end, we should think of evaluating ourselves, consider our strong and weak point and find out why it has occurred . To sum up ,a successful language learner must have his/her unique method and skills .If we tend to consider all of those above ( things like that ) as often as possible and carry them out--- patiently , success is on the way. 不错吧!要谢谢我喵~
