Dear Editor,
I’m writing to tell you about what attitude we senior students have toward P.E class.
The majority of the students hold the view that they should take all kinds of exercise every day, so they keep doing exercises, play table tennis or basketball as often as possible. They think that it can help build up students’ character as well as bodies. Meanwhile it helps decline the opportunity to suffer diseases. In addition, as a result of exercise, they often feel dynamic, which contributes to their efficient study. As a matter of fact, many of the top students in the class are on fire for sports.
Whereas, the minority of the students don’t show any interest in sports and games. They say they suffer from a heavy workload, which takes plenty of efforts to accomplish. Thus, they don’t have enough time for sleeping well and have to stay in the classroom doing their homework. So for the sake of their marks, they are not willing to go out for the activities.
In my terms, sports and games are a necessity in our life and also to our study. As a saying goes well, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Now let’s go in for sports and games. Yours sincerely, Li Ming
