American English and British English
The people in the United States of America speak the same language as people in the Great Britain.However,American English is different from British English in many ways.First,the sounds of American English are quite different from the sounds of British English.For example,most Americans pronounce the"I"in the word "car",but most of the British do not.Some spllings are different.people in Britian write"colour"and "centre",but peopie in the USA wrrite"color"and"center",Finally,some words are different.people in the USA usa"gasoline"in their cars,but people in Britain use "petrol"

美国人和英国人讲同样的语言.但是美式英语在许多方面跟英式英语不同.首先,美式发音跟英式发音不同.例如：大多数美式语调在单词car中有l,但是大多数英国人没有.一些拼写也不同,英国人写colour和centre,但是美国人却写color和center,最后,一些单词也不同.在美国的人,用gasoline 表示汽油,而英国人用petrol表示汽油.
