The Scarlet Letters made me think differently about the world. It's a novel about a wowan named Hester Prynne. Because of her love affairs with a young minister,she is punished by society with a letter A on her chest, which considered an evil, a shame. However, her kindness and tenderness changes the view from townspeople. They consider the letter A a represent of "able". Afterwards, her characteristic totally change the letter's meaning. They regard the letter as "angle".
The story tells me, a "wrong" mark might change people's thoughts about you, but the most important thing is if you would like to correct your impression among people you need to show them the "real" you. If you are defeated by this "mark", you might never change it.
