1. and连接的几个词作主语时,一般用复数.
2. there be 句型要用就近原则. 如: There is a book and two pens on
the table. There are two pens and a book on the table.
3. 其他词组如 either... or; neither ... nor 等等作主语时,要用就近
原则. 如: Either Peter or I am a student. Either I or
Peter is a student.
